About "Stories of his city"

When this project began and I started writing the first songs, I did not know their meaning or what I was doing it for.
Only now, almost at the end of the whole project, through the word of Revelation 3, have I become aware of the essence of what this work represents, how it works and how it is meant to serve.
We are currently in an unprecedented time in which our hearts are being globally tested.
This test or temptation has many facets and levels. The bottom line is, it stops at no one and crosses all ages, walks of life and faiths.
And this is only the foretaste of what unimaginable things will come over the globe.
We should therefore ask ourselves: What will save us from this worldwide temptation?
Scripture, in turn, tells us very clearly: it is "the word of waiting for him." Or to put it a little differently, the word that awaits the Son of Man with eager perseverance.
So there is "a word" that makes our expectation of his coming more alive, which is consequently for the preservation from this temptation.
I think we can agree that there are countless words throughout Scripture that make this hope and expectation of His return come alive.
These are the words we want to hear, study, sing, and live in. If this expectation is already alive, then His words "I WILL COME SOON!" become an engine of our faith.
But where will HE come? Do we know his destination? Is his focus also our focus?
If we do not have answers to these questions and an inner witness, this engine will probably not have the traction in the last days that it needs to receive the victory wreath and complete the race.
During the shaking at the end of time, Jerusalem will nevertheless stand firm in its place, even as the earth crumbles. This place will come together with the heavenly Jerusalem and become one. This city will one day be our eternal home. God promises us
a safe home in it even now, which we no longer have to leave.
The gates are already open now and welcome us, no matter from which direction we start our ascent.
whichever direction we make the ascent into His city.
When I saw that Yeshua will write three names on us, the central meaning of this project became even clearer to me: what are these names? They are identities. So HE is writing on us the identity of the Father, His own new identity and the identity of His city Jerusalem!
According to this, it is the will of God to lead us into a new, perhaps unprecedented connection with Himself and His city, to anchor us in the goal, in eternity. The result will be that we will love and recognize HIM and His city anew.
At the same time, it will be a spiritual preparation to overcome the hard times of the last days.
times of the last days, as we can see beyond the visible.
May this work contribute to that.
